A mini firmware update is now available for Nokia N900 (maemo 5) devices. The firmware gets the updated version 1.2009.44-1 (18.5MB – from 1.2009.42.11). You can see the new firmware update available as a notification in the status bar. If you don’t see any update notification, you can check it manually by going to App Manager and update.

Still there is no complete changelog available, but the main changes are:
- New icons in application manager
- Ovi Catalog has been added to App Manager with more apps.
- Red Pill mode has disappeared.
