A mini firmware update is now available for Nokia N900 (maemo 5) devices. The firmware gets the updated version 1.2009.44-1 (18.5MB – from 1.2009.42.11). You can see the new firmware update available as a notification in the status bar. If you don’t see any update notification, you can check it manually by going to App Manager and update.

Firmware Changelog:

Still there is no complete changelog available, but the main changes are:

  • New icons in application manager
  • Ovi Catalog has been added to App Manager with more apps.
  • Red Pill mode has disappeared.
